Whether you're buying or selling, there
are a few key questions to ask a real estate broker
before saying, "You're hired." Before hiring a real
estate broker in Utah County, make sure to ask these
questions:
1. How long have you been selling homes in Utah County?
How long has this person been on the job, and were they
full or part time? While experience is no guarantee of
skill, real estate, like many other professions, is
mostly learned on the job. Consider hiring a real estate
broker that is full time in the business.
Paul Teasdale of Team Teasdale
Realty has been selling homes full time since 1995. Paul
has never had another job in the past two decades. He is
one of the highest selling real estate brokers in Utah
County. Paul has sold over 1,100 homes. Less than 20
Realtors out of 1,500 in Utah County have sold this many
homes.
2. Are you a member of the National Association of
Realtors?
The National Association of Realtors organization requires certain standards from its
members. Paul Teasdale is
a member of the National Association of Realtors and has
been since 1995.
3. Are you a member of MLS?
This is the Multiple Listing Service, which gives agents
access to houses represented by all agencies -- not just
their own. For sellers, this means your home will be
posted on the list as well, which means more people will
see it. Paul has been a member
of the local Wasatch Front Regional MLS since 1995.
